Work in progress
My research examines how the Camorra criminal organization has created a dystopic totalitarian society, by controlling the economic system and affecting the natural environment in Southern Italy and the Mediterranean. Specifically, through the analysis of literary and philosophical texts, as well as movies and historical works, my work demonstrates how this criminal organization contributes to environmental degradation, racial inequality, and a veritable health emergency.
