Professor Aurore Mroz is the 2026 recipient of the SLCL Diversity and Engagement Award, in recognition of her efforts to engage in university teaching and research schools, libraries, cultural institutions, and families in the Champaign-Urbana community.
The SLCL Diversity and Engagement Award, initiated in 2021, is granted to members of the SLCL community for their significant contributions (tangible and intangible) to the SLCL Community—contributions that strengthen our public service mission, our commitment to diversity, equity, inclusivity, and our international connections.
The awardees will be honored at the 2026 SLCL Awards Ceremony and Reception on Thursday, April 23, 2026.
