Biography

I am a second year PhD student in French SLATE at UIUC. Coming from France, I am a native French speaker and I earned a Bachelor (Licence) in 2021 and a Master (Master) in 2024 in French Language and Literatures from the University of Sorbonne-Nouvelle Paris III. I also earned a Bachelor in Law (Licence de droit) from the University of Panthéon-Assas Paris II in 2023.

Sociolinguistics, Second/Foreign Language Acquisition, Computer and Mobile-Assisted Language Learning, Teacher Education

Research Description

I work on using generative AI and roleplay to improve the oral skills of French students. I developed my own app, NautilIA, to support French learning through new technologies and gamification techniques.
