Through my lifelong interest in physical sciences, I view writers in the same vein as scientists. Both present their work to the public to persuade, educate, and possibly in hopes of catalysing social change.  I'm also interested in writers' visions of their works as sorts of scientific formulas, striving to find the perfect combination of structure and diction to best serve their purpose.
